Mother and Daughter, Patricia Kent and Linda Griggs-Horstman started creating cakes for Tiny Tot Cakes the summer of  2008.  Pat had the idea of putting together a baby shower gift that would stand out from the rest.

Pat takes the color scheme and searches her sources to find the items needed for the cake that meet her quality standards. When you order a cake, you get a unique color coordinated product that stands on its own.

While at the fabric store, looking through patterns for such a cake,   Pat engaged two ladies sitting at the pattern table in conversation and inquired if either one had ever made a cake with baby items.  One of the ladies told Pat how she made hers and that a lot of creativity could be incorporated in making the cakes. Armed with this knowledge, Pat shared  this information with her daughter, Linda Griggs-Horstman, who in turn made a boy’s blue cake. It was the center piece of our shower. Since then, Pat has taken the idea and added her creativity to produce the one of a kind cake.
